Development Projects

Since 2013, the Katib Cultural Association has undertaken a commendable effort by executing seven impactful developmental projects in Afghanistan. Of these projects, six have been successfully concluded, while the seventh – a library initiative – is presently in the construction phase. Notably, the Katib association effectively sourced contributions for these projects through the Danish Refugee Council (DRC)’s Diaspora program, which aids Afghan and Somali associations in their developmental pursuits.

It is with great contentment that the Katib association acknowledges its achievements, including an array of cultural undertakings within Denmark. Importantly, the association’s endeavors have captured the attention of benefactor organizations and relief institutions involved in Afghanistan’s reconstruction mission. This recognition has resulted in substantial donations being directed towards all seven projects, either directly or indirectly, marking a significant contribution to the country’s rehabilitation.

The members of the association in Denmark and the local populace in Afghanistan alike express their profound gratitude for the invaluable support extended by the Danish Refugee Council (DRC). This support has not only enabled the implementation of these impactful projects but has also fostered a sense of partnership and empowerment within the communities served.
