Katib Kulturforening

Katib Kulturforening er en kulturforening, der blev stiftet den 14. april 2007 i København. Foreningen har siden sin etablering arbejdet for at fremme kulturel forståelse, fællesskab og aktiv deltagelse i samfundslivet gennem en bred vifte af kulturelle og sociale aktiviteter.

Foreningens primære fokus er at bevare og formidle kulturelle traditioner, værdier og kulturarv til både nuværende og kommende generationer. Samtidig fungerer foreningen som en vigtig brobygger mellem værts- og diasporasamfundene med det formål at styrke dialog, gensidig forståelse og social sammenhængskraft. Gennem arrangementer, kulturelle begivenheder, foredrag, workshops og sociale aktiviteter skaber foreningen mødesteder, hvor mennesker med forskellige baggrunde kan mødes, udveksle erfaringer og opbygge relationer.

Katib Kulturforening arbejder aktivt for at fremme integration, inklusion og medborgerskab samt for at skabe et stærkt fællesskab, der bidrager positivt til det danske samfund. Foreningen lægger vægt på respekt for kulturel mangfoldighed og ønsker gennem sine aktiviteter at styrke samarbejde, forståelse og samhørighed på tværs af kulturer og generationer.

Generalforsamling 2026

Katib Kulturforening afholdt sin årlige generalforsamling lørdag den 25. april 2026. På mødet blev der fremlagt beretning om foreningens aktiviteter samt regnskab for de seneste to år, herunder kontingentindtægter og udgifter.

I afslutningen af mødet blev der valgt en ny formand og en ny bestyrelse:

Who we are

Katib Cultural Association is a cultural association that was founded on April 14, 2007, in Copenhagen. Basically, the association is focused on the cultural activities, but also plays the role of a bridge between the host and the diaspora communities to bring them together.

The association’s website is currently being rebuilt and will be ready shortly.

Our vision

We believe that there is a gap/wall between the host society and the diaspora society in Denmark. In other words, a kind of barrier has been created on the way of integration, which prevents the diasporas from being integrated into the host society for having a good life. This is because integration is somehow misdefined by the diaspora community.

Our mission

Exchange of the cultural values,
Promotion of Hazaragi culture,
Reducing cultural and religious clashes,
Elimination of gender discrimination,
Recognition of youth with their cultural background & mother tongue,
Collaboration with active organizations in integration,
Helping students and teachers in Afghanistan.

Our purpose

To bring the diaspora community closer to the host community and create work motivation, participation in the political, social and cultural life among the diaspora community and a sense of responsibility towards their new country; And at the same time strengthen the motivation for acceptance in the host society by organizing and carrying out useful cultural and social activities.
